Aquapoint is an industry leading biological wastewater treatment system designer, manufacturer and service provider. We specialize in high performance nutrient removal and tertiary filtration of biologically treated effluent for municipal, residential, commercial and industrial applications. Our product line incorporates fixed-film attached growth processes and supplemental equipment to assemble treatment solutions that are compact, easy to operate, energy efficient and cost effective. In this position with strong growth opportunities, you will work directly with sales agents, representatives and clients to support the engineering side of project development from design to plan review and final specifications.   The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in Civil / Environmental Engineering.

Engineering Duties:

• Design and specify wastewater treatment systems & equipment.
• Prepare design reports and technical documentation.
• Provide project engineers with system specifications and AutoCAD drawings.
• Provide design and permitting support to the project engineer throughout the design process.
• Review and comment on project site plans.
• Review other equipment manufacturer’s shop drawing submittals.
• Provide technical support to AquaPoint sales agents and field technicians.
• Maintain organized project files and email records for each project opportunity.
• Coordinate and assist with the development of new equipment drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review, modify drawings and maintain the equipment CAD library. This includes the coordination oversight and management of the control panel drawing library.
• Design of wastewater treatment process tank assemblies (aeration tanks and grids, anoxic reactors, equalization systems, sludge holding/digestion tanks, hopper bottom and mechanical clarifiers, etc.).
• Assist AquaPoint Engineering Department with product development.
• Assist with QA/QC for new products and customized equipment.

Job Requirements:

• BS in Environmental/Civil Engineering.
• 3-5 years of engineering experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and problem solve.
• Excellent writing, communication and analytical skills.
• Infrequent travel may be required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD LT and windows operating systems (Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook).
• Required to develop a strong understanding of AquaPoint products and processes.
• Required to develop a strong understanding of general wastewater treatment equipment and design principals.
• Required to develop a general understanding of mechanical/electrical systems.

Compensation:

• Proposed Base Salary: $100,000
• Opportunity for performance based bonus.
