Package Plants

Product Description

AquaPoint manufactures IFAS and MBBR package plants in pre-fabricated epoxy coated carbon steel and fiberglass tanks to create rapidly deployable and transportable wastewater treatment systems that are compact, easy to install and simple to operate. The treatment plants are shipped as complete, pre-piped and pre-wired systems unless restricted by size and shipping regulations in which case minimal field work may be required. Each plant is configured to meet the specific requirements of the site. Systems may include screening, grit removal, MBBR or IFAS biological treatment, clarification, tertiary filtration and disinfection.

Product Advantages

Small Footprint / Compact Design

The efficiency of the IFAS and MBBR processes allow our package plants to be about half the size of conventional packaged systems.

Operator Friendly
An MBBR package plant is a one-pass process eliminating the need to manage the MLSS, F/M ratios and return activated sludge (RAS) associated with conventional suspended growth systems. Fully automated controls simplify process control requirements.

Rapidly Deployable and Mobile

Pre-engineered systems streamline the design and fabrication process to speed up delivery time. Whether it is temporary treatment for existing infrastructure repair or until municipal sewer reaches the site, Aquaporin’s packaged MBBR and IFAS systems can easily be relocated to site after site to meet the needs of utilities, communities or industrial clients.

Performance Results

The MBBR and IFAS processes are ideal for high-performance nitrification and denitrification application and can be designed to accommodate just about any treatment standard. Achieve secondary treatment (BOD & TSS removal), ammonia removal, denitrification, total phosphorus reduction, disinfection, reuse quality and more.
